The ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach have once again claimed their title as the busiest shipping hub in the U.S., with a remarkable surge in import volumes this July. The Port of Los Angeles handled an impressive 940K TEUs, marking a 37% increase from last year and the busiest month since May 2021.

The Port of Long Beach also set a new milestone with a 53% year-over-year increase, processing 882K TEUs and breaking its previous July record. These figures underscore the resilience and importance of these ports in global trade, as reported by the Chamber of Shipping.
