New Career Opportunity: Business Analyst – Product Improvement (Liner) | Singapore / Kuala Lumpur

Ben Line Group is seeking a strategic and experienced Business Analyst to drive product improvement initiatives across our Liner business on a 2-year contract.

We are looking for professionals with strong business analysis and project lifecycle management experience, particularly in managing end-to-end change requests, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and driving continuous system improvements.

Location: Singapore / Kuala Lumpur

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Optimisation: Run fit-gap analysis across regional offices, promoting standard system processes over local customisation.
• Change Request Ownership: Manage CRs through the full lifecycle including impact assessment, approvals, vendor estimation, testing, and deployment.
• Testing & QA: Perform functional, SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing with SMEs before managing vendor defects through hypercare.
• Data & Analytics: Develop specialised report templates using ActiveReportsJS and utilise SQL for data extraction and validation.
• Release & Transition: Give go/no-go recommendations on releases, handle system setup, and smoothly hand over delivered CRs to L2 support teams.
• Innovation: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with the Transformation team on AI-driven enhancements to LinerX.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 6+ years as a Business Analyst, specifically including large-scale system implementations or product rollouts, preferably in Shipping Industry.
• Lifecycle Management: Proven experience managing the end-to-end CR lifecycle from requirements gathering to BAU handover.
• Technical & Testing Skills: Strong background writing business requirements documents, checking vendor solution documents, and executing SIT/UAT.
• Data Tools: Practical working knowledge of SQL for data validation and hands-on report design experience.
• Language Proficiency: Spoken Mandarin is required to effectively collaborate with regional stakeholders and project teams.
• Education: Degree in IT, Business, Shipping/Logistics, or equivalent practical industry experience.
